Jistebnice Kancionál: the major source of Czech Hussite vernacular liturgy for a parish church
The Jistebnice Kancionál contains a broad spectrum of liturgical and non-liturgical chants from the early years of the Hussite movement. The major part of the manuscript contains Mass and Office chant in vernacular, a collection of Czech and Latin spiritual songs (cantiones) constitutes another important repertory corpus. The manuscript is a major monument of Czech medieval literature and music culture.

Předmětem digitální edice Jistebnického kancionálu je poskytnout přepisy středověkých zpěvů do novodobé notace a znázornit jejich podobu v rámci co nejširšího výběru srovnávacího materiálu. Jistebnice Kancionál Network obsahuje přepisy notových záznamů ze soudobých latinských a českých liturgických rukopisů, které umožňují oddělit původní podíl husitských autorů na textech a melodiích českého chorálního materiálu.
